The front and back of a rover now has controls, just like your backpack. Backpack activation is Z for left, X for right. Rover activation is Z for front (seat direction) and X for back. If you place something that can be activated (Thruster, Generator) you can use Z or X to turn it on/off. I think you just insert hydrazine and off it goes.
