This being my first pistol I didn't know, I'd recently taken down a Glock and you had to pull that trigger. The same thing happened to me with a Stoeger shotgun, but neither owners manual mentions this. The gun was designed & advertised to lock back the slide on an empty magazine after shooting. 2. It fails to do that reliably. 3. The cause is a poorly designed and poorly toleranced magazine, follower, slide lock actuator tab and springs. 4. The fix in 99% of the cases is a higher quality, stronger magazine spring.
