The paint is a month old single stage urethane. I used a fine nib file on the dust nibs, then started with soapy wet 1200, then 1500 then 2000 on a hand soft pad. After that I used a 'fine cut' machine polish but somehow I see scratches that look deeper than the sandpaper could make!The only draw backs are color matching and perhaps quality control. I opened a gallon of Nason clear once and it had chunks of stuff in it. I recently used the Martin Senior Value line paint and it worked out well for a low end paint. A gallon of BC/CC color and a gallon of clear for $180.00 bucks is not bad.Most single stages have some type of clear coat that can be put over it.
