With Ohlins, I just couldn't seem to get them dialed in good. And the 20-25k service intervals are too soon and too expensive for riding 40k+ miles a year.

I called Progressive and they assured me that the 944 does have a life time warranty. "If you wear it out, send it back and we will replace it." Ohlins are great, but pricey, and kind of over-engineered for most people. Basically, they're close to full race suspension, and 99% of people don't really need it. Fox and Racetech are both good, simple, well performing. Fox being more pricey than Racetech tho.
