I believe they were marketed to pull the same implements as an H at a higher speed so the farmers didn't have to buy new equipment.

Dimensionally, the Super A is about 1/3 bigger than a Cub, just enough that few implements interchange. It has an overhead valve wet-sleeve engine with about twice the power of a Cub. The early 400's and the late Super M's were same but later 400's used dipsticks and had a smaller 1 inch diamiter wist pin just like the 450's, and the H and early (I'm thinking) Super H are similar but later Super H's and 300's, and 350's are different. The M's engine unlike the H can be made into a 450.The number #21 was the snapper version of the 34 HM 20 picker, The #20 was an updated version of the # 24. They look the same. The only difference is updated chains and a chain above the husking rolls to help keep things moving.
